Resonance Institute of Learning is a Level 1 B-BBEE enterprise, established in 2004 and has grown into a fully-fledged, accredited training and consulting company in the education, training and development field. Our head office is based in Gauteng; however we have a national presence and deliver services in all nine provinces through our vast pool of facilitators, assessors, moderators and consultants. These resources are subject matter experts and are allocated based on the specific needs of each project.
The primary aim of Resonance is reflected in our vision, which is to drive transformation through education, training and development services. At Resonance, we pride ourselves on the calibre of our resources. Our project management team has vast, practical expertise having delivered on multiple largescale, nationwide projects. All our facilitators are qualified subject matter experts and our assessors and moderators are registered with the relevant SETAs for all our accredited qualifications and specific unit standards which form part of these qualifications. We have seasoned instructional design specialists who are able to develop new material as well as customisation of existing material to suit the specific requirements of individual clients. They also ensure that all material is user-friendly, audience appropriate, exhibit a blended learning approach and are constantly updated to ensure its relevance. Yasser Ditta is the Managing Director of Resonance Institute of Learning and is highly experienced with over a decade of hands-on experience in the manufacturing, business advisory, capacity building and training industries. He holds a BCom degree in Marketing and Communication Management with additional majors in Labour Law and Labour Relations. In both the public and private sectors, he has played a key role in several large scale projects at National, Provincial and Local levels. His experience in consulting is diverse, including the fields of Organisational Design, Operational Efficiency, Capacity Building and Change Management. He brings a highly pragmatic approach to all of his assignments which is critical in the South African context.
During his time in business advisory services, Yasser identified and recognised the importance of a client’s ability to deliver on its strategy, and the lack thereof being a key inhibitor to successful implementation. This, coupled with the critical importance of skills transfer, sustainability and empowerment of his clients, has driven Yasser to lead from the front on several capacity building assignments at Executive, Senior and Middle management levels with a strong focus on Action Learning.
Hasnayn Ebrahim leads the AIA Strategy and Operations Improvement Practice. With a BSc Honours in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Hasnayn brings over a decade of career experience. His experience in the engineering and operations environment has given him a sound understanding of developing practical solutions through analytical means.
Since joining AIA in 2012, Hasnayn shifted his focus to the Strategy environment and has advised Blue-chip Companies, Government Departments, Parastatals & State Owned Entities in Corporate and Business Strategies, Regional Growth Strategies (Africa in particular), Market Entry Strategies, Mergers & Acquisitions, Portfolio Prioritisation, PMO Set-up and implementation, Operating Models, Governance and Policy Frameworks, Business Process Re-engineering, Monitoring & Evaluation, Stakeholder Engagement and Transformation / B-BBEE.
Mandla Mvelase is a visionary strategic leader, a change agent and an executive and business coach with more than 20 years of executive and senior management experience, with proven ability in both strategy development and business turnaround strategy implementation. He is a creative and business-savvy marketing and communications professional with progressive experience across a broad range of marketing functions and diverse industry segments. Mandla has a proven track record in combining vision, creativity and strong business acumen with well-developed leadership qualities and project management skills to develop, implement and support critical business initiatives.
Mandla’s leadership roles have included being the acting CEO of the Road Accident Fund, the Chief Strategic Officer (CSO) for the Road Accident Fund and General Manager African Bank and Metropolitan Life, as well as senior management positions in both SAB and BP.
